Airport Arrival Info:

Pickups from the Airport are made at a specific ‘pick up’ point (designated by the airport officials). Passengers are required to call us as soon as they arrive at the airport before they claim their luggage at 1-800-675-3278 (choose option 2) to inform us of their arrival. The dispatcher will let you know which van number to look out for. Our gray and white van will be waiting for you at one of the locations listed below.
Oakland Airport
If you have arrived on Southwest Airlines:
1. At the curbside outside the baggage claim area, cross the street twice to the third island/median.
2. Walk to your left until you reach the door-to-door bus stop shelter.
All airlines other than Southwest Airlines:
1. At curbside turn left and walk to crosswalk.
2. Cross the street twice to the third island/median.
3. Walk to your right until you reach the door-to-door bus stop shelter. Turn right and walk to the "Door-to-Door Shuttle" shelter.
San Francisco Airport
International flight arrivals:
1. As soon as you step outside customs, stay inside the building, turn to your right.
2. Walk down to the end of the hallway to the elevator.
3. Take elevator down to Level 1, look for sign Courtyard G
All other domestic flight arrivals:
1. Step outside from baggage claim.
2. At curbside turn to your left
3. Walk past US Airways to end of the building.
4. At end of building is parking lot, look for the sign "Courtyard 1".
United Airlines & American Airlines flight arrivals:
1. Step outside the baggage claim exit.
2. At the curbside turn to your right.
3. Walk past the building to the parking lot, look for the sign "Courtyard 4".

Important Notes About East Bay Connection Reservations

Leaving the Airport

We encourage you to make advanced reservations from the airport as this will help us better serve you and expedite your travel. Due to airport security, traffic conditions and other travel variables your reservation does not mean there will be a van waiting for you at the curb.

When you have your luggage, please inform our staff that you are ready to go. Then you will be routed with other travelers going in your direction, and the next available van going to your area will be sent to pick you up.

The amount of time it takes to pick you up at the airport varies depending on traffic inside the airport, and how many people also going to your area are being picked up.

The uniqueness of our shared ride service is that you get routed with others going to your part of the city, which means that everyone can have a more convenient trip, and benefit from our affordable prices.

Going to the Airport

The van will normally arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled pickup time. If your pickup time is 10:00 am, the van will typically arrive between 10:00 am and 10:15 am. Please make sure that you are completely ready to go at your scheduled pickup time so that you will not keep other passengers waiting!

Luggage

Our luggage requirements are 2 standard-size suitcases (less than 63 inches as measured by the height+width+length and less than 51 lbs) per person. An extra charge will apply for oversized or overweight luggage, bikes, skis, snowboards, surfboards and golf clubs.

Car Seats and Pets

Child car seats are not provided in the vehicles. You must provide your own if needed for the trip to and from the airport. If you are unable to take the car seat with you then we would be glad to hold onto it until you return from your trip.

You can bring in pets but please let our reservation agents know because it is necessary to reserve an exclusive van or sedan for transportation to or from the airport. Please call (925) 609-1920 for a quote or to make reservations. 

When traveling with a bicycle box, make sure you let us know because you have to reserve a charter van exclusively for you. Share-ride service is not available because of the large size of the bicycle boxes. Other guest sharing the ride may not have enough room for their luggage.

PAYMENT, RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Reservations can be made online or you can call our helpful reservation agents 24 hours a day (925-609-1920 option 3).  48-hours online reservations required. If it is less than 48 hours in advance, please call 925-609-1920 (option 3). We try to accommodate those with less notice. Even same day reservations!  There is no need to prepay a reservation unless you would like to. We require a credit card number to hold the reservation, and fulfill the cancellation policy. You may also prepay by calling our reservations department and supplying them with a fax number then we will fax you a charge authorization, which you fill out and fax back. Once we have your signature on file we can charge you in advance.

In order to cancel reservations please call (925) 609-1920 at least 24 hours prior to your pickup time. Otherwise the full fare will be charged.

You may pay the driver at the time the service is provided. The driver will accept cash, all major credit / debit cards or travelers check. You may also prepay by calling our reservations department and supplying them with a fax number then we will fax you a charge authorization, which you fill out and fax back. Once we have your signature on file we can charge you in advance
